East Indian Rosewood

Uses: Musical Instruments, Furniture, Turnery Handles. East Indian Rosewood has been used extensively on acoustic guitars since the mid-1960s as a substitute for the now-endangered Brazilian Rosewood.

East Indian Satinwood

Color: Heartwood is from light to golden yellow, to orangish brown. Sapwood is whitish yellow and paler than heartwood, but not always clearly demarcated from heartwood.
