Rosewood Fingerboard

Uses: Guitars, Mandolins, Ukuleles, etc.

Grade A: Quarter-sawn, straight and tight grain, even color with no structural defects.

Grade B: Slightly curvy and wider grains with fewer defects.

Grade C: Wild grain, pale color with defects having two or more knots and pinholes.

Color: Dark Chocolate Brown to Pale Brown.

Source: Forest and plantation.

Grade A: Jet Black, Quarter-sawn, straight grains, no structural defects.

Grade B: Contain stripes and a few mineral deposits.

Color: Jet Black, grey-brown mix.
